Zlatý vrch

This photo from the end of the thirties of the 20th century shows the basalt quarry Zlatý vrch near Líska being then under operation. In the upper level of the quarry there are the excellently developped basalt columns which then were shorter than to-day. The lower level is almost totally obscured by the trees in the foreground.
