Zelený vrch

This picture postcard shows the „Schillerwarte“ at the northern slope of the Zelený vrch-hill, a popular excursion resort of the inhabitants of Cvikov. The look-out into the country is closed by the Hvozd hill with its two peaks.
On this picture postcard from 1902 you see the former restaurant „Schweizerhaus“ which stood on the southeastern slope of the Zelený vrch hill above Drnovec-village. Since 1945 it is extinct and at present there remains only a cellar.
This picture postcard shows Cvikov´s open-air theatre opened in 1920 in one of the abandoned sandstone quarries of the southwestern projection of the Zelený vrch hill.
On this picture postcard we see the once very popular open-air theatre on the foot of the Zelený vrch hill a short time after its opening in 1920.
