This phototype postcard from 1898 shows the then newly opened inn „Zur Kaiserbuche“ at the Velenický kopec. The pictures above show the „Emperor's beech“ and the outlook over Velenice, on the lower left the overall view of the hill with the lookout-terrace on its peak and in the centre a detail of the inn which soon became a popular excursion resort.
