In the upper part of his postcard we see the village Svor with the old street to Nový Bor in the foreground. The lower pictures show the former Beitlich´s restaurant standing at this road and Hansel´s restaurant in the upper part of the village.

This picture postcard from 1915 records the lower part of Svor as seen approximately from the East. Over the village the railwas-station is shown, behind of which there are the lower peak of the Sokolík-hill and in the background the prominent cone of the Klíč on the peak of which the small cabin is clearly visible.

This picture postcard shows the view of Svor from the peak of the Sokolík-hill. In the foreground there is the railway station in its original appearance, in the village centre the house which at present serves to the local authority is clearly seen and to the right of it are both the greater restaurants. In those days the area betweeen the village and the railway station had not yet been built-up.

On this picture postcard from the beginning of the 20th century we see the original building of the railway station at Svor (then named Röhrsdorf), which had been put into service on January 16, 1869.

This picture postcard from the years between both World Wars you see the main road in the village centre. The beautiful building on the right which at present is the seat of the post office and the local authority, lost during the reconstructions of the 2nd half of the 20th century its attractiveness.

On this picture postcard from 1926 the new building of the railway station from the 1st half of the 20th century is seen. With the festively decoration shown on the picture the Czech railway employees greated the train carrying the participants of the Sokol festival to Praha.

This picture postcard shows the newly-built Czech school opened on August 8, 1926. The buliding stands along of the old road to Nový Bor and till present days serves to the same purpose.

This picture postcard from 1953 shows the then „U Hyků“ called restaurant standing along of the old road to Nový Bor at the branching of the road leading to the railway station. The house is standing up to the present day, but its look-out was in the course of a later reconstruction totally altered.
