Sněžná

On this picture postcard except of two views of the village Sněžná (right) the hill bearing the pilgrimage church of Our Lady of the Snows and the former schoolhouse (upper left) are shown. On the picture in the lower left part there is the chapel St. Trinity standing at the road over the village. In most of the pictures the prominent Vlčí hora-hill is seen in the background.
This picture postcard shows the centre of the village Sněžná as seen from the North. In the centre there ist the pretty schoolhouse and the presbytery behind of which the roof of the pilgrimage church of Our Lady of the Snows with its small tower.
This picture postcard from 1931 shows the pilgrimage church of Our Lady of the Snows built in 1734 by Anna and Johann Liebsch. The small extension on the left side of the church is from 1847.
This picture postcard shows the former Hess's inn at the northwestern end of the village.
