Panská skála

A postcard from 1910 with the Panská skála in the times when stone has been quarried here.
At this postcard from 1903 you see that in this days still basalt columns were quarried. In this years, however, it was allowed to quarry only in the outer parts of the rock so that the part of the rock with the longest columns retained its configuration up to the present day.
On this postcard from 1910 the Panská skála looks almost exactly as at present. Only the small pond then was not as great as at present.
