On this lithography from the turn of the 19th and the 20th century besides an overall view you see the old school in the lower part of the village and the Neo-Gothic style church which in 1985 had been demolished. The central picture shows the large area of the excursion restaurant Kaltenstein, at the lower left there is the house of the former post-office.

This picture postcard from 1905 shows Olbersdorf village as seen from the Ameisenberg hill. In the foreground we see the upper part of the village situated on the foot of the hills, and in the broad valley behind it its lower part with the former church standing on a mound (left). In the background indistinctly Zittau (Germany) is seen and to the right the long viaduct of the railway to Liberec.

This picture postcard from 1924 shows a passenger train going to Zittau on the bridge in the centre of the village. This local narrow-gauge railway was opened in 1890 and the demand was so high that already in 1913 in the section from Zittau-Vorstadt to Oybin an additional second track had to be constructed.
