Out of the woods on the hill on the left side projects the restaurant on the Janské kameny hill and in the saddle more to the right of it there ist the former restaurant „Franz-Josefs-Höhe“.

On this postcard there is the till now working inn „Zum Schloss“ (Castle), which after World War II was famous by its dancing parties. In its foundations remainders of the old residence of the family Berka z Dubé had been identified.

The inn, called „Forsthaus“ (in the background) till the nineteen-fifties stood on the road leading from the centre of the village of Krompach towards the foot of the Hvozd hill. Unlike the inn the small house in the foreground is yet standing.

This postcard from 1911 shows the former restaurant „Forsthaus“ (Gamekeepers lodge) as it appeared in that period. At present this house with its richly decorated front does not exist.

This picture postcard shows the oldest yew-tree standing in the upper part of the Krompach village. Both the house standing on the left side and the hotel „Forsthaus“ in the background no more exist.

This picture postcard presents two of the three noteworthy yew-trees of Krompach. On the left side we see the greatest one the age of which is recently estimated to about 500 years, and on the right the youngest, which, according to the text written on the card, had been planted in 1640. The picture in the centre shows the statue „Ecce homo“ standing not far from the yew-trees.

On that picture postcard on the left side we see the oldest of the yew-trees of Krompach the age of which is estimated to approximately 500 years. The picture in the centre shows the already demolished house of Josef Knobloch with the youngest yew-tree and on the right side there is a picture of the nearby standing skulpture Ecce homo.
