This lithography from the end of the 19th century shows the southeastern part of the market-place with the monumental school building in the background. On the small pictures on the right side you see the church of St. Maria Magdalena and the lookout tower on the peak of the Vlčí hora-hill, on the upper left side the rocks in the valley Kyjovské údolí and below it an overall view of the town from the west.

This picture postcard shows the centre of the town with the church of St. Maria Magdalena from the southeast. Over the town you see the conspicuous building of the hospital and on the horizn to the left rises the Vlčí hora-hill with its look-out tower.

In the background the pool Cimrák (the former Viebigteich) is seen and the whole is topped by the peaks of the Lužické hory (Lusatian mountains) with the dominating Jedlová-hill (left).

This picture postcard from the years before World War One shows the eastern part of the town as seen from the tower of the church of St. Maria Magdalena. On the right side we see the northeast corner of the market-place, the point where the road to Rumburk starts.

This picture postcard shows the houses in the valley of the Křinice-brook in the west of the market place. On the hill to the right there is the area of the former Calvary on the Kostelní vrch (Church-hill) with the Stations of the Cross, the prominent building in the background is the hospital.

This picture postcard from 1931 shows the lower part of Krásná Lípa in the valley of the Křinice-brook as seen from the hill near the Fibichovo údolí-valley. In the left side of the background the Dymník hill is seen.

On this picture postcard from about 1912 we see the northeastern corner of the market-place with the pronounced building of the former municipiality. In the house to the left of it was then the Post office and the restaurant „Zur Post“, and on the right side you see a part of the restaurant „Deutsches Haus“.

This picture postcard shows the view of the southeastern corner of the market-place as seen from the tower of the church of St. Maria Magdalena. On the left side we see the great building of the former municipality and next to it the representative hotel „Deutsches Haus“. The small house with the arcades is the oldest house of the town and since 1995 it is the site of a small regional museum. The prominent building among the houses behind the market-place is the schoolhouse.

On this picture postcard from the turn of the 19th and 20th century we see the northwestern corner of the market-place with church of St. Maria Magdalena. The houses under the church had then arcades, in the one at the right side there was the restaurant „Zum Rathaus“ (in German: town-hall). The great framework house with its half-timbered floor at the corner of the market-place was built after 1739 on the place of the former municipality and stood here until 1904 when it was demolished.

This picture postcard shows the northwestern corner of the market-place in the end of the 30s of the 20th century. Instead of the old house on the corner we already see the newly built house with the pharmacy and the restaurant „Zum Rathaus“ is replaced by the building of the Commercial and Industrial bank. The neighbouring house partially retained its original character, only the arcades were replaced by shops. On the hill over the market-place there is the baroque church of St. Maria Magdalena and the presbytery.

On this picture postcard we see the northeastern part of the market-place with the monumental building of the post-office at its right corner. In the foreground there is the stone fountain with the Austria-statue by L. Zimmer which some time around 1947 had been removed.

On this picture postcard from 1917 we see the church of St. Mary Magdalene with the wooded Kostelní vrch (Church-hill) where between 1857 and 1859 a small chapel and the Stations of the Cross had been built. Over the houses in the foreground raises the former Dittrich's villa.

This painted picture postcard by Roman Havelka shows the street leading to Chřibská with the monumental neo-renaissance villa of Elisabeth Hielle-Dittrich built 1885-1887. In the 2nd half of the 20th century the villa was badly neglected and only in 2002 underwent a reconstruction.

On this picture postcard the villa of the important native of Krásná Lípa, the businessman and sponsor Karl Dittrich is seen, which stood immediately under the Kostelní vrch (Church hill). Behind the trees on the right side you see the church of St. Mary Magdalene.

On this picture postcard we see the Old Catholic Messiah church seen from the East. The church was built from 1900 to 1901, after World War Two it came in a state of disrepair and in 1971 it was taken down.

On this picture postcard from the thirties of the 20th century you see the imposing villa in the Prague street in which before World war two there was a teacher's asylum. Later it serves as convalescent's home and at present there is the administration of the National park „Bohemian Switzerland“.

This picture postcard shows the stone lion standing before the entrance into the town park at the road to Doubice. This monument by the sculptor Klemens Gründing had been solemnly enveiled on September 27, 1908 on the occasion of the 60. anniversary of the accession on the throne of Emperor Franz Josef I. and the 60th anniversary of the founding of the local veteran-club.
