Jonsdorf

A postcard of Jonsdorf from 1898. The upper picture shows the chalet at the pond with the rocks called Nonnenfelsen in the background. In the picture to the right is the rock ravine Felsengasse. On the left side you see the rock formation of the Nonnenfelsen with the look-out and the hikers' restaurant.
On this postcard from 1904 there is the centre of the village with the rocks of the Mühlsteinbrüche (=Millstone-quarries) in the background. Lower left the Dammschänke-inn.

This picture postcard shows the southwestern part of the village as seen from the outlook of the Hieronymusstein. The most distant house is the restaurant Gondelfahrt, from which the road continues to the woody border ridge with the marked rock Falkenstein.
