Historical postcard of Jiřetín pod Jedlovou from 1902 displaying the overall view of the town with the Křížová hora (Calvary) and the Jedlová hill in the background. Under this view you see the place of pilgrimage at the Calvary hill and beneath it the former town-hall. In the left part is the convent and at the bottom a view of the rock of Tolštejn castle over the Rozhled village in the valley. To the upper right hand is the church and the St- Laurentius monument at the market square.

This picture postcard from 1907 shows all the important sights of Jiřetín and its surroundings. In the upper centre is the town square with the church, on the left side from above down the lookout tower at the top of the Jedlová-hill, the place of pilgrimage at the Křížová hora and the Trinity-church of Jiřetín. On the right side is the building of the convent, the ruins of the Tolštejn castle and the already demolished houses including the town-hall at the western side of the market square. In the middle of the card is the war memorial which after World War II had been demolished.

In this picture postcard from 1913 especially fascinates the then Ermlich's dance salon at the railway station of Jiřetín looking more as a factory than as a cultural facility. On the picture below there is the village Jedlová with the hill having the same name in the background, to the right the place of pilgrimage at the Křížová hora and the rock cliff with the ruins of the Tolštejn castle.

This picture postcard shows the town of Jiřetín at the foot of the Křížová hora hill. In the background there is the Jedlová hill, the houses in the foreground, however, belong already to the village Dolní Podluží.

This picture postcard from 1912 shows the church of the Holy Trinity at Jiřetín originating from the turn of the 16th and 17th century. In the adjacent building of the former presbytery with the mansard roof in 1998 a local museum was opened.

On this picture postcard from the turn of the 19th and 20th century there is the northeastern part of the market place of Jiřetín with the small pond built as early as the town was founded to serve in the case of a fire. In the sixties of the 20th century the houses on the western side of the square had to make place for the new unattractive building of a shopping centre.

On this picture postcard from 1916 you see the northern side of the town square at the beginning of the 20th century. In the foreground there is the town hall and the inn. In 1966 the town hall and the two neighbouring houses had been demolished.

This picture postcard shows the houses on the southwestern part of the square and in the adjacent street which leads under the Calvary Hill.

On this picture postcard from the first half of the 20th century the former shooting gallery at the foot of the Křížová hora is shown. In 1960 its bulding collapsed under the burden of masses of snow.

This picture postcard shows the war memorial at the market square in its original form of 1904. After 1918 the Austrian symbols were removed and in the twenties the monument was supplemented by new tables containing the names of the victims of World War One. In 1945 the whole monument had been demolished.

On this picture postcard you see the „Jubilee stone“ and the „Jubilee-fountain“, built 1908 in the market place on the occasion of the celebration of the 60-year reign of Emperor Frrancis Josef I. The memorial stone survived till to-day, in 1918 only the inscription had been erased.
