On this lithography from the end of the 19th century we see the town and the village Donín in the foreground. On the pictures on the left side there is the church of St. Bartholomew with the presbytery, the school near of the railway station and the nearby castle Grabštejn.

This picture postcard shows the view of the town from the south. In the foreground there are the houses of Donín village, most prominent in the town is the church of St. Bartholomew and to the left of it the less prominent tower of the Protestant church.

This picture postcard from 1909 shows Hrádek nad Nisou as seen from the north. On the left we see the factory buildings in the Husova ulice-street, in the field to the right of it to-day there is the Primary school. In the built-up area the acute tower of the evangelic church is standing-out, behind of it there is the church of St. Bartholomew and on the left the outstanding building of the primary school. The horizont is closed by the long ridge of the Ještědský hřbet with the Velký Vápenný hill.

This picture postcard from the end of the 19th century presents a view of the town with the railway station in the foreground. In the center the building of the primary and lower secondary school of 1887 and the church of St. Bartholomew are seen, the horizon is closed by the ridge of the Lužické hory and Zittauer Gebirge-Mts.

On this picture postcard from 1907 we see Hrádek as in the foregoing picture in the view from the northeast. In the foreground there is the railway station from 1859, in the centre there is the prominent schoolhouse on the left of which the church of St. Bartholomew and on the right side the Protestant church built in 1900-1901 are standing. In the lower left corner we see the municipal coat of arms which only slightly modified is used also in present days.

This picture postcard shows the town with its most prominent buildings: the church of St. Bartholomew on the left, the school in the centre and the Protestant church on the right side. In the background behind of the river there are the houses of Loučá village under the prominent two-peaked hill Popova skála and Sedlecký Špičák, in the right part the horizon is closed by the Heideberg hill.

On this picture postcard from the 30s of the 20th century we see the central part of the town marked by the Liberecká ulice-street on the left and the Smetanova ulice-street on the right side. On the left side there is the church of St. Bartholomew, to the right of it the prominent building of the then primary and lower secondary school and behind of it protrudes the tower of the Protestant church.

This picture postcard from the end of the 20s of the 20th century documents the eastern part of the town with the Liberecká ulice-street as seen from the tower of the church of St. Bartholomew. In the right side of the foreground there is the hotel Hrádecký dvůr.

On this picture postcard from the beginning of the 20th century the eastern part of the town as seen from the tower of the Protestant church is shown. In the foreground there is the roof of the school, behind of it the long roof of the railway station warehouse and the houses standing along of the road to Liberec. On the left side on the horizon there is the front of the cemetery founded in 1898.

This picture postcard from the years closely before World War One shows the southern part of the Horní náměstí square with the former restaurant „Zum Kaiser von Österreich“ (in German= Emperor of Austria) in the centre. In the foreground stands the column of St Anne built 1714 as thanksgiving after the plague epidemy.

On this picture postcard from the end of the 19th century we see the Horní náměstí square with the monumental building of the post-office which at present is the seat of the savings bank.

This picture postcard shows the Horní náměstí-square as it was named Adolf Hitler Platz. The column of St Anne, originally standing on the left side of the square, some years later had been dismantled as it stood in the way of the growing traffic and, after 1945 its parts disappeared it is not known where.

On this picture postcard from about 1920 you see the villas in the Žitavská ulice leading from the town to the German border. In the background on the left rises the Velký Vápenný hill, under it the Jítravské sedlo saddle and on the right side the lower crest of the Vysoká hill.

On this picture postcard you see the narrow Ovčí most which at the beginning of the 20th century connected both banks of the Nisa-river approximately 100 meters above the present bridge. In the building with the tower behind the bridge then was the hotel „Helgoland“.

This picture postcard from the turn of the 19th and 20th century shows the former hotel „Zur Stadt Reichenberg“, which stood on the corner of the Liberecká ulice and the Ulice 1. Máje-streets till the 60s of the 20th century and later was demolished. Its building was adjoined by a timbered veranda the interior of which is shown in the left picture.

On this picture postcard from the end of the 19th century we see the former hotel „Zum Goldenen Engel“ which stood in the Ulice 1. Máje-street. To the hotel belonged also a concert hall and an open-air restaurant.

This picture postcard shows the memorial of soldiers killed in World War One enveiled on September 25, 1932. After World War Two the tables with the names were removed and in the 90s of the 20th century the remaining granite block was adapted for a memorial of the victims of wars and of injustice.
