Výšina Františka Josefa near Krompach

The house of the former restaurant „Franz Josef's Höhe“, as shown on this picture postcard from 1908, till present days is standing near the border in the saddle between Krompach and the village Hain in Germany.
On this picture postcard we see the restaurant „Franz Josef's-Höhe“ at about 1910 already with the closed veranda in the foreground. Into the background was artificially painted the Hvozd hill which actually it is situated on the other side.
This picture postcard shows the former restaurant „Franz Josef's-Höhe“ as seen from the Germans side from the village Hain.
On this picture postcard the hotel „Franz Josef's-Höhe“ is shown after its reconstruction and the enlargement of its timbered veranda.
This picture postcard from about 1925 shows the then already only „Josef's Höhe“ called hotel from the southern side.
On this picture postcard from the beginning of the 60s of the 20th century we see the former restaurant „Franz Josef's-Höhe“ seen from the west. In the background there is the Hvozd - Hochwald with the lookout tower on its northern peak.
