This postcard from the years after World War Two shows the houses standing on the crossroad as seen from the slope under the Plešivec hill. On the lower left side there is the former hotel Schäfer behind of which the road climbs to Horní Světlá. On its right side projects the great house of the hotel Adler and on the horizon behind it there is the Luž hill.

On this picture postcard the upper part of the village as seen from the southeast is shown. The prominent house to the right from the centre is the former hotel Adler, on the left side protrude the rocks of the Krkavčí kameny from the woods.

This picture postcard shows the upper part of the village with the road leading to the border crossing Wache to Waltersdorf. The picture is dominatet by the hill Luž, under which at the edge of the wood the former boarding-house Brazilka is faintly visible.

On this picture postcard from the middle of the 30s of the 20th century the houses of the upper part of the village are shown. Near the centre there is the two-storeyed house of the former custom-house and on its left side the small tower of the local chapel. All the houses behind of it in the end of the fifties had been destroyed. On the left side the rock-tower Falkenstein and the roof of the former restaurant „Rabenstein“ on the twin rock Krkavčí kameny protrude from the wood.

On this picture postcard the former Hotel Adler standing near the road branch to Horní Světlá is shownn. The building of the hotel and the smaller neighbouring residential house after World War Two went to wreck and in the 50s had been demolished, the neglected farm building in the background fell down only in the winter 2005.

On this picture postcard in the cutout under the overall view of the village we see the former restaurant „Zum Kaiser von Österreich“ (Emperor of Austria), which stood on its northern end. In the 30s it was called „Lindenhof“, after 1945 some time it was used as military dormitory and in the 50s along with the other houses standing in the border zone it was demolished.
