Dolní Podluží

This picture postcard from 1916 records the central part of the village with the factory buildings standing along of the road leading to Jiřetín. In the background on the left side is the rock with the ruins of Tollenstein castle, more to the right the meadows over the village Rozhled and on the right side the Jedlová-hill.
This picture postcard from the beginning of the 20th century shows the centre of the village with the monumental buildings of the former lower secondary school (in front) and the primary school (in the background).
On this picture postcard from the fifties of the 20th century we see the centre of the village which, as compared with the foregoing picture, underwent some changes. The two older houses had been demolished, the villa standing to the right got a second storey.
This picture postcard shows the memorial of the victims of World War One standing on the local cemetery.
On this picture postcard from 1912 we see the former restaurant „Waldschlösschen“ which stood on the slopes of the Rohál-crest to the south of the village. At present there remain only rests of its foundations.
